Jan van Dalen's frames are prized for their craftsmanship and this Duell Attack is great example. The frame is made from Columbus Neuron which Columbus offered in the early and mid 90's. It had differential butting, meaning the butt was shaped to follow the high-stress areas allowing the tubes to use less material and be lighter weight in weight.

The frame has sleek internal cable routing, pantographed seat stay, bottom bracket and fork crowns, great lug work and a very attractive black and blue two-tone paint job with creme/white accents. The frame sits on a blue-rimmed wheelset with silky smooth Shimano Ultegra hubs.

Most of the componentry is Shimano 105 5500 with 9x2 speed and dual-pivot brakes. The integrated shifters and front derailleur are the more modern Shimano Sora 3500. This is a nice upgrade as shifters from the 5500 tend to gum-up, whereas the newer ones mean a good few years of service with snappy shifting. Stem and handlebars are Cinelli.

Hubs: Shimano Ultegra

About Duell

In 1978 Jan van Dalen started making lightweight steel racing frames in the coastal town of Monster in the Netherlands. These were the days of what the English call so beautifully, "cottage industry". So Jan built them in his shed at home. However, Jan quickly grew out of his shed and moved to Hoek van Holland where he stayed until 2002 and produced beautiful steel frames under the name Duell. Today Duell bikes are sold under the Van Herwerden moniker and Jan still only uses high-quality steel as his material of choice.

Very dangerous metal shavings!!!
Negative stars if I could. This is a very dangerous product. It worked well for a while. But then it quit effectively removing the lid instead I got little tiny shavings of metal around the edge. These shavings of metal go into the food and very dangerous. So this was a waste of money and incredibly dangerous. I am throwing it in the trash today.

Practical and easy to use
This electric can opener performs its function well and gets the job done effortlessly. With just the press of a button, it opens cans quickly and smoothly—which is very useful, especially if you prefer not to exert physical force. The design is comfortable to handle and does not take up much space in the kitchen. The battery life is good, and it recharges without any issues. Overall, it is a functional product that makes an everyday chore much easier.

Works great
Ive broken so many manual can openers from sheer strength and this eliminates that issue not only because it no longer needs my input but because this device actually works! Would definitely recommend it. Usb c charging is a god send, no batteries!
